About Peter Gregory

Peter Gregory has coached at three Olympic Games (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012) and now helps runners of all levels reach their goals—from first-time 5K runners to Boston Marathon qualifiers. A former athlete who trained under legendary coach Bill Squires at UMass Boston, Peter ran 2:23:54 in pursuit of his own Olympic dream and has completed 18 Boston Marathons. He coaches runners to discover their potential, one mile at a time.

Today, Peter coaches marathoners chasing Boston qualifying times, as well as beginners taking on their first 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon. He understands that every runner’s goal is significant—from breaking three hours to simply crossing a finish line for the first time. Peter meets you where you are and helps you discover what’s possible.

Peter’s coaching philosophy is rooted in his own running journey and the lessons learned from both success and falling short. He knows what it takes to chase ambitious goals because he’s lived it himself, and he brings that understanding to every athlete he works with.
